ATHLETE BIO

Grant, affectionately known as "Scooter" in Para-Swimming is named after the scooter he motors around in. The list of achievements "Scooter" has accomplished in S3 Para-Swimming is incredible. In 2009 "Scooter" was the first S3 athlete to break 2 minutes in the Men's 100M backstroke. Since then he has backed this up with an impressive 7 medal haul at the 2011 Pan Pacific Para-Swimming Championships, a serious competitor in the 2012 Paralympic games in London and then two medals at the 2019 World Para-Swimming Championship.

When Grant isn't motoring in and out of the pool he is pursuing he's passion in the automotive industry.
